Tom and Jerry Jello Shots

Tom and Jerry's are a holiday tradition and now Tom and Jerry Jello Shots are too! Admittedly, I'm still perfecting this recipe, but below you'll see what I've got so far. I originally, added 1/4 cup of cold water with the rum, but the shots didn't completely gel, so I took it out. The flavor is perfectly spicy and true to the original recipe. Last note, to prevent the mixture from separating before it completely gels, cool the final mixture to room temperature and stir well one last time before pouring into cups. Enjoy!

How to make Tom and Jerry Jello Shots in Cups

Start with a small sauce pan and measure 1 cup of cold water. Sprinkle 1 envelope of Knox Gelatin and let sit for at least 2 minutes. Then, heat the water until the gelatin is completely dissolved (you won't see it clinging to the sides of the pan anymore) Add 6 tablespoons of Tom and Jerry Mix and 6 tablespoons of Rum. Stir well and cool before pouring into jello shot cups.

This recipe makes about 16 shots - adjust as needed for your party. For more notes from Jello Diva, see How to Make Jello Shots.

Enjoy responsibly with friends!
