Storing Jello Shots

Storing jello shots isn't exactly rocket science, but there are a few things to keep in mind.

Keep them covered

Regardless of how you serve your shots, you will want to keep them covered. If you're using cups, buying lids that match work best. If you're serving jigglers, fruit slices, or shots in cocktail glasses, wrapping these in plastic wrap keeps them from dyring out and getting that funky jello skin on the top.

Fresh is best

Lesson number two, don't store jello shots too long! Fresh is best for so many things, even jello shots. By making shots too far in advance, the flavor of the shots will actually change by time you will serve them. The alcohol flavor seems to become a little more prominent, but not always in a good way. Making jello shots the night before you serve them if at all possible is the way to go.
