Hop aboard the Mystery Machine and don't forget the Scooby Snack Jello Shots! I'm not really sure how this flavor combination became known as a "Scooby Snack," but the other weekend I was out with some friends and someone bought a round of "Scooby Snacks." Since these shots were pretty tasty, I decided to give their jello shot equivalent a whirl. If you are looking for something with a bit of a tropical taste, these do not disappoint. Remember, if you can't find pineapple jello, you can use pineapple juice with Knox gelatin so long as you use canned juice instead of fresh. Enjoy!

How to make Scooby Snack Jello Shots in Cups
Start with a large glass measuring cup and measure 1 cup of boiling water. Dissolve 1 box of Pineapple Jello (3 oz size) and stir until fully dissolved. Add 1/2 cup of cold water, 1/4 cup of Melon Liqueur, and 1/4 cup of Coconut Rum . Stir well and cool before pouring into jello shot cups. This recipe makes about 16 shots - adjust as needed for your party. For more notes from Jello Diva, see How to Make Jello Shots. Enjoy responsibly with friends! |
