Pinata Jello Shots

With Cinco de Mayo just a day away, it's time to stir up some Pinata Jello Shots! While tequila combined with lime jello might not be much of a surprise to those of you who are seasoned jello shot veterans, the banana liqueur in this recipe adds a bit of a twist - give it a try! On a slightly unrelated note, as much fun as it sounds to stuff your Cinco de Mayo pinata with jello shots, it's not generally recommended unless you plan on wearing them :-) Enjoy!

How to make Pinata Jello Shots in Cups

Start with a large glass measuring cup and measure 1 cup of boiling water. Dissolve 1 box of Lime Jello and stir until fully dissolved. Add 1/2 cup of cold water, 1/4 cup of Tequila, and 1/4 cup of Banana Liqueur . Stir well and cool before pouring into jello shot cups.

This recipe makes about 16 shots - adjust as needed for your party. For more notes from Jello Diva, see How to Make Jello Shots.
