Were you the kid that always stole the candy canes off the Christmas tree? Don't be shy about sneaking one of these Peppermint Jello Shots! Since Kraft has yet to make peppermint flavored jello, we are going to start with Knox gelatin and flavor it with Rumpel Minze. Not only does it pack a strong peppermint flavor, at 100 proof it packs a bit of a punch - those Germans aren't kidding around! It's all to the benefit of these shots - the only thing missing is color, so feel free to add some food coloring or keep things clear - Enjoy!

How to make Peppermint Jello Shots in Cups
Start with a saucepan with 1 1/2 cups of cold water. Sprinkle a packet of Knox gelatin and then heat slowly until all of the gelatin is completely dissolved. Stir constantly for best results. Add 1/4 cup of Sugar and continue to stir until completely combined. Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before adding 1/4 cup of Vodka and 1/4 cup of Rumpel Minze. Add red food coloring for some festive flair before pouring into jello shot cups. This recipe makes about 16 shots - adjust as needed for your party.
