Malibu Jello Shots

I never until I tried Malibu Jello Shots would have thought to combine watermelon and coconut. I don't know that you could quite say that it's tropical, but it is a rather tasty combination. If it's too much coconut for your liking, consider balancing the coconut rum with cold water (not to exceed 1 cup in total) or with an alternative rum, spiced or light perhaps?

How to make Malibu Jello Shots in Cups

Grab a large glass measuring cup (a 4 cup measure is a good size) and dissolve a package (3 oz) of Watermelon Jello in 1 cup of boiling water for about 2 minutes. Add 1 cup of Coconut Rum and stir well. Cool until the liquid has cooled (so that you don't melt your cups). Then, pour the jello into individual jello shot cups and chill until firm.

This recipe makes about 16 shots - adjust as needed for your party. For more notes from Jello Diva, see How to Make Jello Shots.

Enjoy responsibly with friends!
