Would it really be Halloween if you didn't drop an eyeball in something? Do it with Mad Eye Martini Jello Shots! These are as easy to make as regular vodka jello shots, just add eyeballs! So where to find these eyeballs? I found mine at Target in the seasonal section - they come in their own ice cube tray. While they are designed to make into actual ice cubes, you can create your own clear jello shots by using Knox gelatin and flavored vodka. Your guests will be eyeing them all night long!

How to make Mad Eye Martini Jello Shots in Cups
Start with a large glass measuring cup and measure 1 cup of boiling water. Dissolve 1 envelope of Knox Gelatin and stir until fully dissolved. Add 1/4 cup of cold water, 3/4 cup of a flavored Vodka of your choice (I like blueberry!). Stir well and cool for just a bit. Drop a Gummy Eyeball into each cup carefully filling your jello shot cups. For an even more impressive presentation, consider doubling the amount of knox gelatin in the recipe and pouring into an ice cube tray. After they have set, pop them out of the ice cube tray and serve them on a platter for the Halloween jello shot that will be staring at you all night long. This recipe makes about 16 shots - adjust as needed for your party. For more notes from Jello Diva, see How to Make Jello Shots. Enjoy responsibly with friends! |
