Jello shot molds can be a more creative way to shape up your party - literally! While this may be a slightly more time intestive way to make jello shots, one advantage of jello molds vs. cups is that the molds are reusable and won't get thrown away by the end of the night. Just remember that if you are using molds, you'll want to use the recipe for jello jiggler shots so that they can 'stand on their own.'

When it comes to plastic jello molds, a popular choice is ice cube trays. This is a great way to get uniformly shaped shots that you can serve without cups. The tricky thing about plastic trays is that sometimes things get a little bit stuck. One suggestion is to spray your trays lightly with cooking spray before pouring your jello. If you choose to go this route, please do so sparingly so that you don't end up with slimy shots.
This is where you have a little more room to be creative. If you've been to Target or Ikea, you might have seen an assortment of silicone ice cube trays. There are two things that I really like about these trays. First of all, they come in fun shapes which is always a plus if you're throwing a party. The second thing is that these trays are really flexible which makes it a little easier to get them out.
For other alternatives to molds, consider using jello shot syringes or jello shot cups to match the theme of your party. Enjoy!
