Jello Shots and Shooters

A Cocktail Glass for Sophisticated Jello Shots

Serving your jello shots in a cocktail glass can be another way to ratchet up the class factor for your event while still keeping it fun. There are a few diferent ways that you can go about this. The most obvious would be to simply pour the jello into the glass and chill. However, this would not be my first choice for a few different reasons.

Jello shots straight up

First of all, unless you have a cute little spoon to go with your glass, it will be very difficult to eat your shot. Secondly, I don't know about your fridge, but for me personally it would be difficult to balance a bunch of cocktail glasses on my shelves without having jello all over everything.

Tiny jello bits

So, for those who are wanting another option, consider making your jello shots into jello jigglers and then cut your jigglers into tiny cubes, or better yet, tiny shapes. Cubes are certainly easiest, but depending on the theme of your party, you might want to consider using tiny cookie cutters to make tiny shapes.

If you go this route, here are a few more tips. Don't pour your jello jigglers too deep. What is too deep? It will depend on the size that you are going to cut your shapes, generally speaking, don't make your jigglers deeper than the width of your shape or the size of the cube you plan to cut.

Additionally, while small shapes would allow your guest to enjoy their jello shots by "drinking" these jello bits right out of the glass, you might also want to serve your jigglers with a toothpick or tiny spoon, giving your guests a slightly more civilized option. Enjoy!
