Brass Monkey Jello Shots

These Brass Monkey Jello Shots are actually based on a cocktail recipe of the same name. There are a lot of different versions of this drink, but the most common recipe I found calls for equal parts of rum and vodka mixed with orange juice, so that's what I did here. It's a simple recipe that's perfect for the jello shot chef who's just starting to experiment with possibilities beyond vodka and jello - Enjoy!

How to make Brass Monkey Jello Shots in Cups

Start with a large glass measuring cup and measure 1 cup of boiling water. Dissolve 1 box of Orange Jello (3 oz size) and stir until fully dissolved. Add 1/2 cup of cold water, 1/4 cup of Vodka, and 1/4 cup of Rum. Stir well and cool before pouring into jello shot cups.

This recipe makes about 16 shots - adjust as needed for your party. For more notes from Jello Diva, see How to Make Jello Shots.

Enjoy responsibly with friends!
